PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK


Plitvice Lakes are one of the greatest natural wonders of Europe and "must see" place when you are in Croatia. UNESCO protected site since 1979, it covers 300 square kilometres of deep woodlands and sixteen lakes of crystal blue-green water connected to each other by a series of foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. Process of sedimentation is still going on today, like it was over millennia, shaping new barriers, cascades, waterfalls and channels. Winter, spring, summer or fall, Plitvice Lakes will enchant you with its beauty.

Entrance fee for N.P Plitvice Lakes is not included in our price (make sure to bring enough Kunas in cash for the entrance fee)
If you’re a student bring your student ID and get a discount on the entrance fee
Food in the park is expensive so you might want to bring your own food for the day
There are places to refill your bottle with water in the park
Walking path is slippery; it’s better to have closed shoes than sandals/ flip flops
Be sure your memory card is empty before you go to Plitvice Lakes because you will need it :)
